About us:

CAN! was created by parents for parents to lessen the burden of financing treatment for their children on the Autism Spectrum.

Autism is defined by the Autism Society Of America (ASA) as: "Autism is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and is the result of a neurological disorder that affects the normal functioning of the brain, impacting development in the areas of social interaction and communication skills."

Autism is increasing at an alarming rate. The national statistic is 1 in 150 children. It is now 1 in 90 in some states! CAN!'s mission is to raise funds and provide grants to empower parents. Upon approval, parents can use these grants to help pay for bio-medical and therapies not covered by insurance, state agencies, or school districts.

It is our hope that parents will be able to greatly enhance their child's quality of life OR work at recovering their child! We'd like to help parents do this financially.
